Guitar Syllabus from 2019
New books available to order!
We’re delighted to be introducing a refreshed Guitar syllabus, launching on 6 September. We will be offering new repertoire lists at Grades 1 to 8, with everything from classical favourites, new arrangements and commissions to traditional pieces from around the world. The new syllabus will also feature more duets at Grades 1 to 5.

For the first time, books of graded exam pieces will be available for guitarists at Grades 1 to 5, bringing together an attractive selection of pieces from across the three lists in one easy-to-use edition.
There are new supporting resources for early learners as well. The Guitar Prep Test has been completely refreshed for 2019 – the ideal introduction to the exam experience! You can also discover over 40 pieces for early learners in Guitar Star, an illustrated repertoire book from leading guitarist Gary Ryan.
