NEW Percussion Syllabus from 2020

This syllabus offers teachers and students a vast array of new repertoire for percussion players in a wide range of styles – classical, pastiche, swing, contemporary, jazz and modern. For the first time, candidates will now be able to play all three percussion types (Combined exam) or focus on a single instrument (Tuned, Snare or Timpani exam).

We have published new books of exam pieces to support learners – the pieces have been carefully selected to provide an attractive and varied range of music to perform in exams, concerts or anywhere else!

In addition, we have supporting resources for all elements of the assessment, which include scales and arpeggios, studies and sight-reading.
