Note: Cookie names may change as Shopify or thirdparty providers update their services.

Strictly necessary cookies are placed under the legitimate interests basis because the Store cannot function without them (UK GDPR Art 6(1)(f); PECR Reg 6(4)).

All other cookies are set only with your consent (Art 6(1)(a); PECR Reg 6(1)). When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept, reject or customise cookies. You can update your choices at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

• Banner controls – Use our onsite controls to toggle cookie categories on or off.

• Optout tools – Google provides a GA optout addon; Meta offers ad preference settings in your Facebook account.
• Accessibility interface – The accessiBe widget includes a \"Stop animations\" and \"Adjust contrast\" feature that relies on functional cookies. If you disable functional cookies, the widget may not remember your preferences.

Blocking some cookies may impact the Store's functionality, e.g. you may not be able to add items to your basket or complete checkout.

Third-party providers (e.g. Google, Meta, Shopify Payments) may set cookies or similar technologies over which we have limited control. These cookies are subject to the providers’ own privacy and cookie policies. We contractually require them to process data only for ABRSM's purposes and under UK data transfer safeguards.

Cookies remain on your device for the period shown in the table above, unless you delete them earlier via your browser or cookiebanner controls. Analytics data linked to cookies is retained no longer than 26 months.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology or the Store’s operation. Any material changes will be highlighted in the banner or by email (if you have an account). Please review this page regularly for the latest information.
