How to track your order

Check your order status page:

If you have an account: go to Account → Orders, open the order, then select Tracking.

If you checked out as a guest: use the tracking link in your emails to open the same page.

Delivery running late?

If there’s no update for 48 hours after dispatch, or your delivery window has passed, contact us with your order number and delivery postcode and we’ll investigate.

Start your return online

Use our Returns page to send a return request to the team.

1. Go to the Returns page on our website
2. Choose the return reason and enter your order number
3. Tell us which item you want to return and whether you want a refund or replacement
4. Add photo links if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect

We review requests manually and email the next steps, including the correct return address where needed. Please wait for our reply before sending anything back.

UK orders are usually handled within 1 working day and delivered in 1–2 working days, so the typical total is 2–3 working days.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. For full detail, see our Shipping Policy.

Use the Syllabus Finder to choose your pathway, instrument and grade.

From there you can review the books for your selection and open the official ABRSM syllabus PDF and related resources.

We currently ship to UK addresses only.

If you are outside the UK, please check local ABRSM distribution or availability in your market before ordering.

If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact us with your order number and delivery postcode.

We will investigate with the carrier and our fulfilment partner and let you know the next step.

If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible.

If the order has already moved to fulfilment, we may not be able to cancel it and the next step may be a return after delivery.

Sometimes we have to reject or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, unexpectedly discontinued, outside our delivery area, or was mispriced.

If that happens, we will let you know and refund any amount already paid.

We do not offer exchanges.

If you need a different product, place a new order and return the original item if it is eligible under our Returns Policy.

Digital downloads cannot be returned once they have been accessed or downloaded.

If your digital content is faulty, contact us and we will review the issue and advise the right next step.

After payment, sign in to your ABRSM Shop account using the same email address you used at checkout.

Open My sheet music from your account to view the scores linked to that order. If you do not already have an account, create one using the checkout email address.

Check that your payment is complete and that you are signed in with the same email address used at checkout.

If the score is still missing, contact us with your order number and checkout email address. Please do not send payment-card details.

The viewing, download and print options available for your purchase are shown with the score in My sheet music.

Use the controls shown there rather than looking for a file in your order email. Available options can vary by title.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return, although they are often completed earlier.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include card payments and other supported wallet options.

The exact options displayed can vary depending on your order and device.

Payment is taken when we accept your order.

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable, while shipping charges are shown separately at checkout. For more detail, see our Terms of Service.

You can place an order without using a store account, but having an account makes it easier to review order history and manage future purchases.

These product types support different parts of ABRSM study:

• Exam Pieces focus on repertoire.
• Exam Packs usually combine the main books needed for a grade.
• Scales & Arpeggios cover technical work.
• Sight-Reading supports unseen reading practice.
• Aural Tests develop listening skills.

Getting started

If you are new to ABRSM, the easiest place to start is the Syllabus Finder.

Preparing for an exam? You will usually need some combination of Exam Pieces, Scales & Arpeggios, Sight-Reading, Aural Tests or Music Theory, depending on the pathway and grade.

Look for Exam Packs where available if you want a bundle of the main materials.

ABRSMsounds is our official home for audio recordings across all major streaming platforms. It gives you quick access to high-quality recordings for teaching, practice and exams.

Choose your preferred platform – including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and others – and start exploring. Most services are free to use, even if they include occasional ads.

No. We no longer offer audio downloads via codes in books.

If your publication points to the old service, use ABRSMsounds to choose a streaming platform, or check our audio recordings page for the current listening options.

Yes. You can still buy MP3 downloads with a one-off payment from Amazon or the iTunes Store.

If you prefer streaming instead, start from ABRSMsounds and choose your service there.

Yes. Selected tracks from popular syllabuses are available as in-app purchases through our Practice Partner apps.

This can be useful if you want syllabus-linked tracks alongside the wider ABRSMsounds streaming catalogue.

Anyone aged 18 or over can book an exam for themselves or another person.

To get full teacher access, create an ABRSM Shop account or sign in, then use the sign-up route on the For Teachers page to request access.

Once your request has been reviewed and approved, your account is upgraded to Full Teacher Access. This unlocks teacher-only bundles, discounts, teaching resources and other teacher benefits.

If you have created an account but still cannot see teacher-only bundles or discounts, your account has not yet been approved for Full Teacher Access.

While your teacher request is being reviewed, you can still use the Syllabus Finder and browse the For Teachers page.

Teacher-only bundles, first-order shipping, the Teacher Suggestion Box and early-bird offers become available after approval.

We aim to respond to teacher sign-up requests within 2–3 working days.

If your request is still under review, we will email you once it has been approved. If you have waited longer than expected, please contact us and we can check the status for you.

• Visitor: you can browse and use tools such as the Syllabus Finder and explore the For Teachers page.
• Logged in: you keep that access and can also view more teacher content, including free teaching resources.
• Full Teacher Access: you unlock teacher-only bundles, first-order shipping, early-bird offers, the Teacher Suggestion Box and other teacher benefits.

ABRSM For Teachers is for music teachers.

If you teach music and want access to teacher-only offers, bundles and resources, you can apply from the For Teachers page.

Teacher sign-up requests are reviewed before full access is granted.

Teacher bundles are curated sets of ABRSM publications designed to save time and help you choose the right books for your students.

On the For Teachers page you can filter bundles by instrument and category. Bundle cards show the number of items included, the bundle total and the estimated saving.

Teacher-only bundle access is available to approved teacher accounts.

Multi-buy savings are applied automatically at checkout when you add enough eligible publications to your basket.

• 5–9 items: 5% off
• 10–14 items: 10% off
• 15–19 items: 12% off
• 20+ items: 15% off

You can mix and match eligible publications across categories to reach the next discount tier.

No. Multi-buy savings cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discount codes.

If your basket qualifies for multi-buy, that bundle discount is the one that will apply at checkout.

Yes. Approved teacher accounts get free shipping on their first order, with no minimum spend required.

If you have Full Teacher Access and cannot see this benefit, check that you are signed in to the correct approved account or contact us for help.

Yes. Approved teacher accounts can get early access to selected new publications, together with an early-bird saving when that offer is available.

Availability depends on the publication release and the offer running at that time, so check the For Teachers page regularly for current launches and teacher offers.

This area links to teaching materials, courses and downloadable support content, including selected Teacher Hub resources.

Some teacher resources on the For Teachers page link to Teacher Hub.

If a resource asks you to sign in there, create or use a Teacher Hub account. Teacher access here does not automatically sign you in to every Teacher Hub resource.

Once your teacher account has been approved, you can use the Teacher Suggestion Box on the For Teachers page to share feedback and request new features or resources.
